REMINDER OF QUARTERLY COMMUNICATION
Worshipful Master, you are summoned together with your Past Masters, Wardens and all Brethren of your Lodge to attend the June Communication of Grand Lodge, to be held on Wednesday 19 June 2019 at Freemasons Bayside commencing at 7:30pm.

The Quarterly Communication will be live streamed to the below designated centres:
Bairnsdale, Ballarat, Baxter, Geelong, Bendigo, Box Hill, Greensborough, Horsham, Keysborough, Mildura, Mount Waverley, Pakenham, Portland, Shepparton, Sunshine, Swan Hill, Traralgon, Wangaratta and Warrnambool.
There will be a short “Q&A” session at the conclusion of the Communication and I remind you of the Grand Masters message of 5 April 2019 whereby members were invited to submit questions for this session to the office of the Grand Secretary.
Submissions are now open until close of business on Wednesday 12 June and should be addressed to grandsec@freemasonsvic.net.au or by calling the office on 9411 0103.
It is a requirement that those with questions be present at Freemasons Bayside for the Communication. The questions will be collated and published along with the answers.
DEPUTY GRAND MASTER – RULE 38
Nominations for the position of Deputy Grand Master opened on Wednesday 20 March and will close at the fall of the Gavel at the Quarterly Communication on Wednesday 19 June 2019.
Rule 38 outlines the qualifications necessary for a Brother proposing to nominate for the position of Deputy Grand Master.
Rule 38 states: Brethren willing to be nominated as candidates for election as Deputy Grand Master must, at the time of nomination have served in an active Grand Lodge Team in an office which entitled him to the appellation “Very Worshipful” or “Right Worshipful.”

The names of the candidates for the position of Deputy Grand Master will be announced at the June Communication.
