Well done Team Freemasons 24! The annual ‘ Sleep at the G’ saw more than 100 Freemasons join the Grand Master to help break the cycle of youth homelessness by sleeping it rough within the MCG.
Wearing their distinctive high-vis Masonic beanies, Freemasons Victoria made up 10 per cent of the total participants.
“On any given night, more than 7,600 young people aged 12-24 are experiencing homelessness in Victoria, which is an astounding 19.7% increase since 2016.” – Melbourne City Mission.
The total of $105,824 raised so far by Victorian Freemasons will help raise essential funds to build youth housing and support young people experiencing homelessness.
